Sound Insulation

We have been installing warmcel blown fibre insulation as a solution to suppress noise for over 10 years. On many occasions it is part of an overall design that enables noise to be suppressed across a whole range of frequencies.

Acoustic floors

When noise is coming up from below warmcel 500 blown into the floor void at the appropriate density can be extremely effective at reducing this noise on its own.

High level of airborne nose suppression
Very quick to install (up to 60 square metres each day)
Minimum disruption as whole floor does not need to be taken up. 1 or 2 floorboards per room.

Warmcels performance can be enhanced in this situation by using a selection of membranes or acoustic mats.

Acoustic ceilings

When noise is coming from the ceiling it is normally a mixture of airborne and impact noise; there may also be an element of flanking path noise.

Warmcel 500 is blown into the ceiling void at the designed density. The effect of this measure is to soften the various noises that come into your property. This means that any additional measure will be more effective. Details and costs of these measures can be found at www.

Again it is quick to install.

There are design issues to look at such as recessed spot lights, which can either be changed for lights which emit very little heat or acoustic light boxes can be constructed around them.
